Hey guys! I hope you all had as much fun as I did at our shared Independence Day(s) party! There was beautiful new magic, awesome effects, and plenty of rain! Towards the end, Sylva hosted a quiz! There was about 15 questions, and each question had to do with Canada or America's history! Congratulations to Lyon and Muro who won for answering the impressive majority of the questions! They were each awarded with prizes for their accomplishments!
I also have some screenshots for anyone who may have missed the party.
New flag magic!
Give it up for Canada, too!
As for the fashion contest, it was a hard decision, with over 50 contestants! That's a new record, at least for how long I've been on Chotopia. The winners are as followed:
Sansa, KellyByee, Lyon, and myself as well! We each received two days of citizenship and 5,000 bugs.
The Journalists for July were also announced! Congratulations to Realm, Bebot, Elixir, and Muro! Each of your blogs look fantastic! I'm also proud to say that I was also chosen for journalism. We were each rewarded two weeks of citizenship. Great job everyone!
I hope that you each have/had an amazing holiday weekend. Stay safe everyone. Don't forget to thank our amazing staff member, Sylva, for all the work she has put in toward today, and every other day! It wouldn't hurt to thank her every once in a while. I know it would make her day!
Thats all for now. Until next time!
Hello Chotopians! Today, July 2nd, the staff is holding a special party, celebrating the birthday of Canada and America. Canada's independence day was yesterday, July 1st, as America's is on the 4th of July. I'm not familiar with how they celebrate in Canada, but in America we celebrate with a get-together with family and/or friends, barbecues, and fireworks at night!
Also, at the party, they are going to judge to see who's the most patriotic for either country! For Canada, make sure you're wearing red and white. For America, wear red, white, AND blue! I can't wait to see who'll win! I heard the prizes are pretty nice! :D
Hey guys! Today we had a party for Christmas and New Years! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did! I loved all of the cool magic, and the winter items that were rained! Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, and holds a special place in my heart. I hope everyone has had a good holiday, depending on which ever you celebrate! I had an amazing Christmas. I got to spend a lot of time with family, and I got a lot of clothing. As you get older, you'll learn that you appreciate getting clothes more than toys. Money is always good too ;D Now onward with the point of the post; the party! I got some awesome screenshots to share with you all!
Sorry, the mail icon got in the middle of this picture, but I thought the bells were cute!
oxygen is very valuable, yes!
I took a lot of random ones! I tried to get different variations of mod magic, because I loved the festivity! And when it was over, the mods sent us a message via promo!
How sweet of them! The game has a wonderful staff. <3
That's all for now!
Hey everyone, I recently realized that Santa is in town right now on Chotopia! You all probably didn't realize because he isn't in his usual spot; he's at the Space Quay, replacing the garbage dude.
Have fun collecting your cute winter accessories!
UPDATE:
Shadow said the rewards are going to change each week. This week is the scarf! It's Monday though, you have 6 more days to obtain the scarf before the next item is up for grabs! Have fun!
I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a good one! Thanksgiving is a great time to get together with your family and hang out. Plus, you get to stuff yourself and hear what's juicy in your cousins/aunts/uncles' lives! *Not grandma or grandpa because honestly whats juicy with the old folks?* I love my grandparents though. Ask them about their childhood and you got 'em talking for hours! Just don't ask them if they remember the civil war, that offends them. Oops. You know that when this generation of kids are grandparents, they're not going to have crazy historical stories like we do. Their stories will consist of "When I was five years old I got my first iPad Air!"
Well back into the point of this post, I wanted to share with you my Thanksgiving this year!
Well first of all, we had to eat really early because my mom and my aunt had to work the night shift. But that's okay because it was still a lot of fun. My aunts who came over don't have any kids, or husbands for that matter, so it was just me, my sister, and a bunch of adults. It wasn't too bad because we got to play a few rounds of "Cards Against Humanity."
Around 5 o'clock was when everyone left. So after that, it was just me and my sister at home. But it was fine, it was also a break from our loud family. I still had a blast, even if it was only a few short hours. Now we prepare for Christmas! I'll show you guys pictures of how decked out my family gets for Christmas. We go all out, from yard decorations, to indoor!
And now an update for the sake of this blog! I haven't been on in a bit, and I apologize for that. Sometimes I just don't feel like posting, y'know? But now, here I am! I'm changing the theme to Christmas! \
Hey guys! I know I'm a little late, but the Chotopia team has some updates for everyone! So most likely, you've already known the following:
The cow mission contest results are in! The top three contestants on the charts were rewarded bugs, citizenship, medals, and candy! Congrats to Pjrgonmey and Horizon! Enjoy your prizes ;)
New moderator! Congratulations to Lava!
There's a Thanksgiving party coming up! On Saturday, November 21st, we will gather at the Cafe Street. Not quite sure which server it's on yet, but the time is the same as the Halloween party! If you forgot, the Halloween party was held at 12:00PM PST, and 3:00PM EST. Only two timezones were listed, so you can google yours compared to one of the two, to get an idea of what time the party will be for you! Or you can just compare it to Cho-time. The party will be held at 7PM via Cho-time.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, the comic contest is still up! It'll end on the 19th!
Last but not least, there's a winter clothing vendor in the Cafe Street! This friendly fellow hands out some adorable clothes for you to dress up in. Take a look:
Enjoy this while it lasts, as it wont be here forever. That's all for now guys.
FINALLY! I've been so hype for Halloween since the summer (about August)! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday! I'm 15, and I still go trick-or-treating! I think it's really only an American "tradition"... I mean it sounds pretty American right? Going around your, or your friends neighborhood (even better, a neighborhood that is totally new to you!) and knocking on their door and asking for candy...
And I hope you guys aren't like the lame people who don't even try to dress up, and just go door-to-door asking for candy. I think the best part about Halloween is dressing up! This year I'm going as a vampire with a small group of friends. How about you guys?
So, the main point of this post was to talk about Halloween, yes, but also to talk about the in-game party coming up! It's going to be on Saturday, at 7-PM Cho-time. That's 3PM for anyone in EST, 12PM PST, 2PM Central, etc. If your timezone isn't any of these, then you can google your time vs 3PM EST, or 12PM PST, etc. The Chobots Staff stated that the party will include "rain, fog, lots of scary magic, and music at this un-boo-lievably fun party!"
